Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kanegawa Takanobu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert DeLeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanobu drops his hands momentarily and DeLeo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Kanegawa Takanobu has been cut.
DeLeo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd cheers as DeLeo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Takanobu doesn't seem phased though.

DeLeo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Takanobu doesn't seem bothered though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DeLeo throws a good cross that connects.
Takanobu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling DeLeo to score with a decent uppercut.
Robert DeLeo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

DeLeo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and DeLeo duly obliges.

Kanegawa Takanobu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
DeLeo lands a glancing blow to the side of Takanobu's head.

Jeez, Kanegawa Takanobu's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takanobu goes for a double leg but DeLeo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as DeLeo continues to drive forward.
DeLeo tests Takanobu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
DeLeo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Takanobu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
