The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Mendoza. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Miller working for a guillotine from mount but Mendoza is in no mood to give up.

Mendoza wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Miller is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mendoza has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mendoza!

Miller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mendoza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mendoza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mendoza feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down.
Mendoza sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Miller to the ground! Mendoza dives into full mount looking to finish!
It looks like Jagger Miller has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller is desperately trying to improve his position but Mendoza has a good base and remains in mount.
Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Miller is squirming around, avoiding Mendoza's attempts to control the action.
Mendoza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller is looking to improve his position but Mendoza isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Mendoza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Miller paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mendoza.

Miller has his foot on Mendoza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mendoza works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Mendoza which made him look bad.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jagger Miller's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
