Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baby Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Mr Toro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn tries to close the distance and clinch but Toro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Penn counters by clinching up.
Penn tries to score a body lock takedown but Toro shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Toro tries to pull guard but Penn holds him up against the cage and eventually Toro drops back down to his feet.
Toro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Penn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Toro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Penn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Baby Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Toro.
Toro misses with a wild combination.
Penn lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Penn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Toro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, if Toro is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Penn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Penn wants to get back to full guard.
Penn is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Toro scores with a couple of nice shots.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Toro misses with a takedown attempt

and Penn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Toro's guard.
Penn is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toro is controlling Penn's posture.

Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Toro is retaining full guard.
Toro will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Penn drops back looking for a leg! Toro is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Toro manages to kick Penn off! Penn jumps back into Toro's guard.
Toro pulls Penn in close to prevent any damage.
Toro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Penn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Penn seems to have locked his on tight now - Toro screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Penn, as he picks up the win!
