Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damien Brock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Walker!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Brock keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Brock wants to control but Walker is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Walker controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brock flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brock preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brock wants to improve his position but Walker is controlling well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Walker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Brock pulls Walker in close to prevent any damage.
Walker prevents Brock from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker postures up.
Walker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Brock is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Walker stays in close to Brock's body and controls the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Walker gets a double leg takedown into Brock's guard.

Brock looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Walker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Walker tries to free his leg and advance position but Brock is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brock is trying to keep Walker in close.
Walker controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Brock trying to keep a closed guard but Walker is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Walker stays in close to Brock's body and controls the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Brock looks for a takedown but Walker sprawls well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Walker lands a two punch combo.
Brock is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Walker dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Walker rushes Brock and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Brock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Damien Brock has been cut.
Walker with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Brock is fighting off a takedown attempt but Walker is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Brock to the mat. Brock regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Walker scoring with punches to the head and body.
Brock wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Walker is now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Brock! More strikes land and this one is all over! Walker jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Walker!
