The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macias is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laboom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Laboom is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Macias's half guard.

I really don't envy Macias right now.

Macias shoots for a double leg takedown but Laboom sprawls well. He's pushed Macias's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Laboom decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Laboom in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Laboom has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Laboom bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Macias really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Laboom is looking to take a break and control but Macias is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tyrion Laboom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Laboom fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Macias to the ground. Laboom is now in Macias's guard.
Laboom slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Macias wants to stand and escape but Laboom is having none of it.

Laboom's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Macias closes the distance and clinches up with Laboom, looking for a takedown. Macias pushes Laboom against the cage but Laboom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Macias goes for a double leg but Laboom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Laboom continues to drive forward.
Macias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Laboom as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey Macias. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Laboom shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Laboom was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Macias is letting Laboom control him for a moment.

Laboom has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Macias!
Laboom tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laboom prevents Macias from getting the reversal.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Macias is trying to escape the mount but Laboom keeps good control and instead manages to take Macias's back.
Laboom is riding his opponent, not letting Macias buck him off.
Tyrion Laboom is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Laboom is not going to allow Macias to sit and survive in this position.

Well Laboom has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
