Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michal Tarnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Martinez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tarnowski is defending well for now.
Tarnowski stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Martinez is pushing Tarnowski up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
We've been informed that Martinez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Martinez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tarnowski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Martinez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tarnowski manages to get himself to full guard.
Tarnowski has his foot on Martinez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Martinez works his way back into a safe position though.

Martinez is sitting in close to Tarnowski's body. Tarnowski has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Martinez is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Martinez is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tarnowski.
