Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cechini Muszyna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brent's entrance music is David Brent - 'Life on the Road'. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Brent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Cechini Muszyna!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brent shoots for a takedown but Muszyna saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Muszyna takes a swing at Brent's ribcage but misses.
Brent takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brent shoots in but Muszyna avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Muszyna is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brent with a body shot.
A jab from Muszyna misses.
Brent uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Muszyna has time to react.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brent or perhaps it was just good defense by Muszyna, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Brent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Muszyna is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brent.
Brent uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Muszyna.

Cechini Muszyna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Muszyna looks to score with a jab to the body but Brent is just out of range.
Muszyna is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Brent rather than just go for the knockout.
Muszyna lands a lovely overhand right.

Muszyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brent moves away.
Brent slips a straight right by Muszyna.
Brent takes a jab right on the kisser.
Muszyna throws a shot from downtown. Brent moves away and avoids it.
Brent changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Muszyna has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brent finds it's way round the side to connect with Muszyna's head.

Muszyna misses with the body kick
and Brent counters with a nice double leg into side control. Muszyna won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brent lands an elbow.
A lull in the action here.
Muszyna is trying to control Brent's posture but Brent avoids it.
Brent postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Muszyna tries to bench press Brent off him but Brent keeps the position.

Muszyna managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brent.

Muszyna is not content to let Brent control the position.
An elbow from Brent crashes against the mat.
The ground and pound from Brent seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brent is looking to take a break and control but Muszyna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brent throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Muszyna tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brent is in Muszyna's guard.
Muszyna is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brent is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Brent is pushing down on Muszyna's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muszyna is fighting to maintain full guard but Brent has managed to sneak the leg through.
Brent throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that David Brent will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A jab from Muszyna does it's job there.
Brent defending well as Muszyna loads up on a big left hand.
Brent attempts a counter takedown but Muszyna avoids it well and moves away.
Muszyna lands a right hook to the body.
Cechini Muszyna seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Muszyna swings for the body but Brent moves out of range.
Brent half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cechini Muszyna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

so Brent counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Brent wants to control from the top but Muszyna keeps moving.
Brent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Muszyna works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

David Brent overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Brent connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Muszyna some visible discomfort.
Brent fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Brent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muszyna keeps working.
Brent tries to move to full mount but Muszyna actually manages to regain half guard.

Brent wants to advance to full mount but Muszyna doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Brent in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Brent throws a big right hand that misses.
Brent controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Brent throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Muszyna ducks under a wild hook from Brent.
Brent bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brent staying calm.
Brent tries to move to mount but Muszyna blocks the move with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brent wants to control but Muszyna is keeping him busy.
Brent fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Brent working the ground and pound but Muszyna is defending the strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Muszyna gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Brent lands with some strikes.
Brent landing punches.
Brent cracks Muszyna with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brent cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Muszyna is squirming around, avoiding Brent's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Brent dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Brent misses with a jab to the body
and Muszyna connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Muszyna dips to his left and cracks Brent with an uppercut!
Muszyna does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Muszyna throws a leg kick but Brent sees it coming and moves out of range.
Muszyna throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Muszyna keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brent pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Muszyna back to the cage. Brent follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Brent's corner calls for a 1-2. Brent obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Muszyna lands a slapping body shot.
Muszyna misses with a looping left.
Brent appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Brent jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brent throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Muszyna counters with a stiff right hand.
Brent is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brent switches off momentarily and Muszyna cracks him with a monster right hand! Brent topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Muszyna dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Muszyna!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cechini Muszyna!
Cechini Muszyna decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
