Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Chivaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akiyama has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chivaro avoids the head kick by Akiyama.
Akiyama is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Chivaro or perhaps it was just good defense by Akiyama which made him look bad.
Yoshihiro Akiyama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akiyama closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chivaro to the mat! Chivaro manages to get full guard.
Chivaro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Akiyama manages to get himself to full guard.
Chivaro is pushing down on Akiyama's leg trying to pass to half guard. Akiyama is fighting to maintain full guard but Chivaro has managed to sneak the leg through.

Akiyama on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Akiyama tries to get out of the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chivaro throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Akiyama has his hands clasped together but Chivaro breaks the hold and Akiyama is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Chivaro!
