Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Flipper!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
May looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Flipper catches May with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

May gets control of Flipper's arms and successfully pulls guard. May will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Flipper tries to stand but May is controlling from the bottom.

May seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

May wanted to stand there but Flipper had control of the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flipper can do anything to dispel that myth.
May is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Flipper lands with a hook. May tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

May is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
May tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flipper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Flipper unleashes a big counter combination but May bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

May shoots in for a double leg but Flipper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Flipper scores with the left hand. May knows he should have avoided that one.
Flipper lands a nice hook to May's body. May takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Flipper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jeff Flipper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

May is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Flipper darts in and clinches May up against the cage.
Flipper swings away with an uppercut that misses.
May blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Flipper lands a body punch in the clinch.
May has Flipper pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flipper manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
May is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flipper to keep the fight standing.

May breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jeff Flipper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
May is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Flipper gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
May takes a shot to the head.
May wants a takedown.
May is breathing heavily.
Flipper lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of May backwards.
Flipper lands a shoulder strike.
May tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Flipper smiles and moves away.

May drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Still in the clinch, Flipper scores with a nice short uppercut.
Flipper lands a right hand that snaps the head of May backwards.

May changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Flipper fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

May is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Flipper pulls him back up using the underhooks.
May tries to score a body lock takedown but Flipper shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

May has Flipper pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flipper manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

May is trying to drag Flipper to the mat but Flipper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Flipper. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Flipper swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Oh May is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flipper throws a punch but it's blocked by May.
Flipper pushes May back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Flipper unloads with a big right hand that wobbles May! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Flipper is unloading with more strikes now! May drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Flipper!
