Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murska Puro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Kingsley has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Murska Puro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Murska Puro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Kingsley!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Puro has time to react.
Puro throws a front kick aimed at Kingsley's knee but Kingsley avoids it well.
Kingsley thuds his right hand into Puro's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Puro misses with a head kick.
Puro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kingsley moves out of range of the body kick from Puro.

Puro gets caught flat footed, as Kingsley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kingsley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Puro's head.
Kingsley postures up in Puro's guard and throws a big left but Puro blocks it.
Kingsley looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Kingsley landing with the ground and pound.
Kingsley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kingsley controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Puro throws a head kick that misses.
Kingsley stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Puro takes a jab right on the kisser.
Puro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kingsley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kingsley looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Murska Puro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kingsley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Puro's guard.
Kingsley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kingsley controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kingsley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kingsley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kingsley connects with a looping right hand.
Kingsley digs a good body shot into Puro's ribs.

Kingsley looking to score a takedown here. Puro is defending well but Kingsley drives through and ends up in Puro's guard.

Kingsley is working Puro over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Puro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kingsley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Puro seems to have got his legs back now.
Kingsley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Puro gets caught napping as Kingsley dives in and scores a takedown. Puro manages to retain guard.

Kingsley passes into half guard.
Kingsley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Kingsley dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kingsley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Puro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Puro walks into a straight right hand from Kingsley.
Puro tries to score with a low kick but Kingsley moves his leg out of the way.
Kingsley checks a leg kick nicely.
Kingsley swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Puro motions for Kingsley to come forward. Puro throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kingsley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Puro on the side of the head.

Kingsley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Puro on his heels. He'll look to pass Puro's guard now, I'm sure.
Kingsley stays in close to Puro's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that Kingsley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kingsley passes into half guard.
Kingsley is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Kingsley moves nicely into side control.
James Kingsley has got the better of the ground game so far.
You can see the frustration on Puro's face as Kingsley controls the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kingsley lands a nice forearm strike.
Kingsley controlling the position from side mount.
Kingsley is continuing to stall.
Puro is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Kingsley is staying tight to Puro's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Puro ducks straight into an uppercut from Kingsley and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Puro manages to regain guard straight away.
Kingsley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Puro on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Puro tries to get out of the position.

Kingsley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
More stalling from Kingsley.
Kingsley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kingsley scoring with some ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kingsley controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kingsley passes Puro's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kingsley looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Kingsley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Kingsley lands a nice hook to Puro's body. Puro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kingsley jabs at Puro's body.
Kingsley bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kingsley shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Puro takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Kingsley sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Puro bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Kingsley!
James Kingsley decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
