The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Aguirre lands a two punch combo.
Durden takes a swing at Aguirre's ribcage but misses.
Aguirre closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A jab lands there for Durden.
Aguirre really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Aguirre keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Donk. Durden catches Aguirre right on the button with a cross.
Durden fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Durden sizes up Aguirre with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed right hand from Durden misses the target.
Durden scores with a one two! Aguirre had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Aguirre is rocked!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durden, as that shot connected.
Oh Aguirre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durden lands a hook that stumbles Aguirre back into the cage. Durden follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Aguirre to the canvas! Durden pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Aguirre has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tyler Durden!
Tyler Durden decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
