Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Monstro Slammo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slammo throws a one two combo.
It looks like Kelly French has been cut.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
French taking a breather.
French managing to block the knees to the body from Slammo.
French drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
French is looking to take this one to the mat.
French is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelly French. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slammo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Slammo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
French is looking to stand up but Slammo isn't so interested in that idea.
French knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slammo on the ground.
Slammo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of French's head.

Slammo chips away with some ground and pound.

Slammo won't allow French to get back to his feet.
French is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slammo defends well.
French really is a fat lump.

Slammo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
French is trying to control Slammo's posture but Slammo avoids it.

Slammo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slammo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big shot lands for Slammo! That's hurt French! Will he recover? Slammo fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monstro Slammo!
