The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Queiros counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

It looked like Firm was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Queiros.

It looked like Firm was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That was a close round but I would say that Dante Firm will probably get the nod.

and Firm counters with a stiff right hand.

Firm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Queiros circles away quickly and effectively.
Firm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Firm wants it to stay on the feet.
A quick step to the side and Firm tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Firm tests Queiros's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Queiros is still on wobbly legs! Can Firm finish him?
Queiros walks straight into a right hand from Firm - that's dropped him! Firm jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Queiros from any more punishment! Queiros complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
