Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Enil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Hoffman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Enil!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Enil closes the distance and pushes Hoffman back into the cage.
Hoffman is working for takedown but Enil is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hoffman misses with a hook from the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Enil - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Enil gets underhooks to prevent Hoffman's takedown attempt.
Hoffman really is a fat lump.
Hoffman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Enil prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Hoffman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hoffman has Enil pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Enil manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Enil controlling the action here for a moment.
A frustrated look appears on Hoffman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoffman fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Enil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hoffman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Enil swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hoffman sets himself, and Enil steps forward looking for the clinch! Hoffman avoids it this time.

Enil gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hoffman is looking for a takedown.
Hoffman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Enil gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Enil avoiding damage.

Enil breaks from the clinch.
Hoffman tries a low kick but Enil avoids it.
Enil wants to clinch.
Enil throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Enil drives through and clinches with Hoffman against the cage.

Enil tightens his grip and picks Hoffman up, before dumping him to the ground. Hoffman manages to land in guard.
Enil controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Enil wants to control from the top but Hoffman keeps moving.

Enil trying to control but Hoffman is working from the bottom.
Enil throws a big elbow that misses.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Enil is looking to clinch but Hoffman is avoiding it.
Hoffman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Enil tries to clinch but Hoffman moves out of range.
Hoffman is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Enil.

Hoffman drives through with a takedown into Enil's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Enil lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hoffman keeping moving, preventing Enil from controlling successfully.
Enil trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hoffman's guard.
Enil pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hoffman is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Enil is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Enil looking to score a takedown here. Hoffman is defending well but Enil drives through and ends up in Hoffman's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hoffman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Enil engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Enil trying to control but Hoffman is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Enil fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoffman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Paul Enil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hoffman gets caught napping as Enil dives in and scores a takedown. Hoffman manages to retain guard.
Enil wants to control from the top but Hoffman keeps moving.
Enil throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Enil has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hoffman keeping moving, preventing Enil from controlling successfully.

Enil wants to pass the guard but Hoffman is keeping the position.
Hoffman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Enil loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Some wild striking there from Enil.
Enil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Enil drives through and clinches with Hoffman against the cage.

Enil turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
You can see the frustration on Hoffman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Enil decides to stand back up. Enil steps back and let's Hoffman get back to his feet.
Enil connects with a leg kick. Hoffman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Enil goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Tim Hoffman has been cut.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Enil stuffs the takedown.

Enil clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Enil lands a takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Enil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Tim Hoffman's cut.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Enil lands with a nice body kick.

Enil scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Enil seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hoffman wants to control but Enil is keeping busy.

Hoffman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Enil pulls his head out easily.
Enil is looking to take a break and control but Hoffman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Enil throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Enil looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Enil wants to control but Hoffman is keeping him busy.
Hoffman wants to control but Enil passes into side.
Hoffman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Enil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hoffman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Enil throws an elbow but Hoffman slips to the side and avoids it well.
Enil is trying to ground and pound but Hoffman uses the momentary lack of control by Enil to regain half guard.

Enil wants to work for an arm triangle but Hoffman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hoffman is trying to control but can't.
Hoffman wants to control the action here but instead Enil manages to pass to full mount!
Enil punching from mount but Hoffman doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Enil is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hoffman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Enil is working for a guillotine from mount but Hoffman frees his head quite easily.

Enil tries to control but Hoffman wriggling away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paul Enil comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Enil has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
