Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Muntz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson Muntz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Harry Slater's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Slater!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Muntz. Beautiful body shot.
Slater drops his hands momentarily and Muntz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Slater, as that shot connected.
Slater takes a jab right on the kisser.

Slater drives through with a takedown into guard.
Slater throws an elbow that misses. Muntz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Slater's guard. Nice move by Muntz!


Slater is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Slater might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Muntz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Muntz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Muntz is stalling here. Slater is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Muntz seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Slater has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Slater creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Muntz is trying to get back to his feet.
Slater wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muntz keeps working.
Slater tries to score with some ground and pound. Muntz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slater wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muntz keeps working.

Muntz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Slater off and has taken his back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Slater breaks Muntz's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muntz pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Slater back to the cage. Muntz follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Slater throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Muntz was covering up waiting for the punch and Slater finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Slater has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nelson Muntz dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Muntz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slater.
Muntz throws a big counter combination but Slater scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Slater chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Muntz can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A very excited looking Nelson Muntz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
