Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Clapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Tran will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randy Clapper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Tran!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clapper avoids the body shot from Tran.
Randy Clapper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tran takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Clapper connects with a looping right hand.
Tran tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clapper was well out of range. Poor timing from Tran.
Nice shot by Clapper.
Tran scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Clapper lands a nice shot to the body.
Clapper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tran throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clapper takes a swing at Tran's ribcage but misses.
Tran steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clapper.
Clapper lands with a straight right. Tran didn't see that one coming.
Clapper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clapper lands a two punch combo.


It looks like Marco Tran has been cut.
Clapper misses with a wild body shot.
Tran misses with an uppercut
letting Clapper counter with a right hand.
Clapper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clapper scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tran doesn't seem bothered though.

Clapper lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Tran sprawling to the canvas. Clapper follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Tran hang on?


Tran is rocked!
Clapper looks to land a strike but Tran avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Tran is still in real trouble! Can Clapper finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clapper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tran seems to have recovered his senses.
Tran is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Clapper with a flurry of punches that miss.

Clapper stands up and waves to Tran to follow him.
Tran uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Tran forces Clapper back against the cage and clinches.
Tran misses with the head strike.
Tran told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Clapper manages to break the clinch.
Tran misses with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clapper connects with a crisp jab.
Clapper on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tran waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clapper.
Tran scores with a crisp jab that stopped Clapper in his tracks.
Clapper misses with a few strikes there.
Clapper fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clapper throws a right hand that Tran ducks under and follows up with a left that Tran also avoids with ease.
Tran is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clapper.
Tran slips a jab from Clapper.
A nice side step and Tran releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A combination from Clapper does no damage.
Tran throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Clapper. Tran does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tran misses with a looping left.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Tran throws a body punch but Clapper moves out of range.
Clapper looks to land a combination. Tran sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Clapper gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tran gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Tran!
