And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 37 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman ducks under a wild hook from Fury.
Fury fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coleman manages to avoid it.
Coleman with the counter takedown but Fury avoids it easily.
Fury throws a right and a left that both miss.
Coleman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Fury throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Coleman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fury's guard.
Coleman throwing strikes but missing.
Fury wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Coleman trying to control but Fury is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coleman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Coleman thows a huge punch but Fury dodges it nicely.
Coleman is trying to control. Fury wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Coleman is standing up over Fury. Fury looks to escape but Coleman dives into side control.
Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fury keeps working.

Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coleman showed some decent athleticism there.
Fury wants to get back to his feet.
Fury is refusing to be controlled, as Coleman sits in half guard.

Coleman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Fury is trying to stand.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Coleman is taking a breather. Fury says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Coleman tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Coleman shoots in but Fury avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fury misses with a straight left.
Coleman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Fury defends it well.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fury as he avoids it easily.
Fury throws a right hand that Coleman ducks under and follows up with a left that Coleman also avoids with ease.
Coleman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fury takes a swing at Coleman's ribcage but misses.
Coleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fury's waist but Fury gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman off to one side.
Bryan Fury has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Coleman.

Bryan Fury is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Coleman dives in for a single leg takedown but Fury sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Fury throws a big counter combination but Coleman scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Fury misses with a few strikes there.
Good standup being displayed there by Fury as he connects with a hook.
Fury throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Coleman's head.

Fury connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Coleman tumbling to the canvas! Fury pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Coleman was done - good stoppage!
