The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Pasamasid. No joy for Horwat on that attempt.
Horwat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Horwat wants it to stay on the feet.
Marek Horwat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horwat gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pasamasid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Horwat thinking.
Pasamasid gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Horwat gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pasamasid tries to roll over but Horwat keeps him under control.
Horwat is trying to control the action in half guard but Pasamasid is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Pasamasid is looking for a sweep. Horwat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Horwat takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are battling for position here. Pasamasid manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Pasamasid might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Horwat haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Pasamasid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horwat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Horwat is stalling in the full guard.
Pasamasid has his foot on Horwat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Horwat works his way back into a safe position though.
Horwat missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Pasamasid working a defensive guard but Horwat manages to pass into side control anyway.
Horwat is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Pasamasid is trying to escape and Horwat transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pasamasid is forced to tap! Nice work there by Horwat! Very nice indeed!
