Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Beef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beef has chosen Arguru as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerry Butler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Beef!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler throws a solid leg kick but Beef takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Butler.
Butler waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Beef. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Beef to the canvas! Can he finish him!?


Beef is rocked!


It looks like Tony Beef has been cut.
Butler working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Beef is still in real trouble! Can Butler finish him?
Butler wants to control from the top but Beef keeps moving.
Beef seems to have recovered his senses.
Beef tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Butler postures up in Beef's guard and throws a big left but Beef blocks it.
Butler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Gerry Butler will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown by Beef or perhaps it was just good defense by Butler which made him look bad.

Butler throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Beef on the side of the head.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Butler lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Beef has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Beef and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Butler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I think Beef has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
