Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Boggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boggs comes to the cage accompanied by "Miami Vice Theme" by Jan Hammer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyson Boggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben King! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in and bounces Boggs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boggs wants to sweep here but King controlling him for the moment. King advances to half guard. King is looking to take a break and control but Boggs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boggs wants to control but King is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is trying to work for a kimura but Boggs is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boggs is in trouble now - King has advanced to mount! King controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boggs really wants to buck King off and get back to his feet. Boggs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground. King trying to control but Boggs is having none of it. King controlling the position easily from mount. Boggs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boggs tries to get out of the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King tries to control but Boggs wriggling away. Boggs wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
King goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Boggs turns into him and now he's in King's guard.
King is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
Boggs looking for a sweep. Not yet Boggs, not yet. Boggs wants to get back to his feet but King passes into half guard.
King is looking to take a break and control but Boggs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Boggs wants to control but King is keeping busy.
King is trying to control. Boggs wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben King dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
King tries for a takedown but Boggs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Boggs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. Boggs appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Tyson Boggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben King. Boggs drives through with a takedown into King's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Boggs postures up.
Boggs is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King wants to sweep but no luck.

Boggs wants to stand up but King manages to regain full guard. Boggs throws an elbow that misses. King uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boggs's guard. Nice move by King!
King has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boggs is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Boggs tries to stand but can't do so whilst King controls his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boggs working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. King is trying to control but Boggs passes into side control!
King is trying to control Boggs's posture but Boggs avoids it. King sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boggs's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boggs's back! King is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Boggs taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from King.
