Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jospeh Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanegawa Takanobu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jospeh Osborn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jospeh Osborn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kanegawa Takanobu! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osborn lands a head kick. Takanobu smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Kanegawa Takanobu has been cut. Osborn clinches up against the cage. Osborn lands with a light punch inside. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Osborn with a knee to the head.
Osborn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osborn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Osborn lands a nice knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osborn lands a nice knee to the body. Takanobu prevents the takedown attempt.
Osborn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Takanobu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Takanobu wants to take the fight to the mat but Osborn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Takanobu is working for takedown but Osborn is calmly controlling the position for now. Jospeh Osborn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kanegawa Takanobu. Osborn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Takanobu backwards. Osborn connects with a knee to the head.
Takanobu drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Osborn gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Osborn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Takanobu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Takanobu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Osborn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Takanobu showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Takanobu looking to pass the guard. Takanobu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Osborn controls Takanobu momentarily but Takanobu frees himself. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jospeh Osborn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kanegawa Takanobu's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Takanobu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Osborn to score an easy takedown into full guard. Takanobu lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Takanobu sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osborn wants to sweep here but Takanobu controlling him for the moment. Takanobu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Osborn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takanobu passes easily into side control. Nice work. Osborn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Takanobu can do to turn this around? Osborn tries to improve position but can't. Takanobu content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Takanobu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Takanobu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Osborn, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takanobu in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Osborn is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
