The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Carli throws a big shot that misses.
Smithing throws a fast counter high kick but De Carli manages to duck under it in time.
Smithing takes a jab right on the kisser.
De Carli throws a series of punches but Smithing avoids them all with ease.

It looks like John Smithing has been cut.
De Carli misses with a wild combination.
And Smithing tries to counter it with a takedown but De Carli pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Oooh a lovely combination from De Carli sends Smithing down but not out. De Carli dives into side control looking to finish.
