Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Wietrzny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emong Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wietrzny comes to the cage accompanied by Hunter-Fallen. Salvacion has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvacion throws a right and a left that Wietrzny avoids nicely.
Igor Wietrzny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wietrzny closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Salvacion has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Wietrzny's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wietrzny was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Igor Wietrzny will probably get the nod.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Emong Salvacion spoke after the fight, saying 'He's the better man today... I will be back.'.
