Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Larry Carey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, GaiI Kin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kin closes the distance and pushes Carey back into the cage.
Carey fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Carey is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carey tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kin throws a strike but Carey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carey defends well and Kin ends up having to push Carey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Carey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Kin is desperately trying to improve his position but Carey has a good base and remains in mount.

Kin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Carey counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Kin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kin wants it to stay on the feet.

Carey throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carey looks to land a combination but Kin avoids it well.

Kin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kin somewhat.

Carey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kin cracks Carey with a solid left hand.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carey is on top in guard.

Carey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Carey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kin keeping moving, preventing Carey from controlling successfully.

Carey tries to keep at a distance but Kin has taken the fight into the clinch.

A close second round but GaiI Kin will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kin shoots for a double leg takedown but Carey sprawls well. He's pushed Kin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Carey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Carey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
