Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zurrdo Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Souwer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souwer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. System Of A Down - Science kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete moves in looking to clinch but Souwer pushes him off.
Nice takedown defense from Souwer. No joy for Pete on that attempt.
Souwer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pete swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Souwer takes the fight into the clinch.
Pete wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A knee to the head by Souwer.
Souwer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pete fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Andy Souwer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pete shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pete drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Pete looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Souwer is fending him off so far but Pete persists. Nope, Souwer circles away and we're back to standing.

Souwer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pete gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Souwer.
Souwer pushes Pete up against the cage in a clinch.

Souwer tries to stand but Pete is controlling from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pete is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pete is looking to sinch up a triangle. Souwer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pete's body to avoid the submission. Pete has instead reached around Souwer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pete arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Zurrdo Pete!
