The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mossey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mossey looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mossey working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Mossey tries for a kimura but Stallworth is defending well. Mossey looks gassed! Stallworth is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Stallworth's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mossey advances nicely into full mount. Stallworth really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stallworth on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stallworth tries to get out of the position. Stallworth tries to hold on but Mossey postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mossey seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Stallworth is holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mossey looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stallworth tries to hold on but Mossey pushes him away. Mossey looking to secure an arm triangle but Stallworth defends it well. Stallworth wants to get back to his feet.
Mossey with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
