Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andre Karanov!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karanov works over Coleman's head and body with a nice combination.
Coleman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Karanov's head backwards.
Coleman avoids the body shot from Karanov.
Karanov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Karanov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coleman appears to be looking for a big counter.
Karanov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Coleman digs a good body shot into Karanov's ribs.
Coleman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Coleman rushes Karanov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Coleman throws a head punch that misses.
Coleman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karanov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Karanov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Coleman keeps control of Karanov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Karanov managing to block the knees to the body from Coleman.
Coleman lands a right hand.
Still in the clinch, Coleman scores with a nice short uppercut.
Karanov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Karanov avoids the elbow strike from Coleman, against the cage.
Coleman tries to throw a body punch but Karanov avoids it by throwing Coleman back against the cage.
Coleman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Karanov backwards.
Coleman prevents Karanov from breaking the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coleman has Karanov pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Karanov is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Coleman - that's hurt Karanov badly! Oh, another knee lands and Karanov is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Karanov doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Greg Coleman!
