Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitka Boycheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boycheck comes to the cage accompanied by Парус. Kessler has chosen Yattering - Chase of Thoughts as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 27 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mitka Boycheck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Kessler! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boycheck tries to clinch up and Kessler counters with a three punch combo that has Boycheck backing up. Boycheck nods at Kessler to acknowledge the strikes. Kessler throws a nice inside leg kick. Kessler throws a body shot but no joy. A bone on bone clash there as Boycheck blocks the leg kick.
Boycheck is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Boycheck tries to clinch up and Kessler counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Boycheck thinking. Boycheck tries to clinch up. Boycheck tries to clinch but Kessler moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kessler feints and as Boycheck raises his hands in defense, Kessler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kessler postures up and lands a big shot to Boycheck's brow. Boycheck working a defensive guard but Kessler passes into half guard.
Boycheck wants to control but Kessler is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kessler drops an elbow to the side of Boycheck's head. Kessler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boycheck regains full guard. Nicely done. Kessler is looking to work some ground and pound but Boycheck has wrist control. Kessler throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kessler cracks Boycheck with a solid left hand. Kessler trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kessler lands a couple of elbows. Boycheck trying to control the position.
Kessler tries to free his leg and advance position but Boycheck is retaining full guard. Boycheck is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kessler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kessler content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kessler trying to control the position from guard on top but Boycheck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boycheck has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Kessler connects with a couple of short punches. Boycheck is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Boycheck throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Kessler works his way into side control. Boycheck tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kessler wants to control but Boycheck is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boycheck tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kessler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kessler working away. Kessler looks up at the clock and then as Boycheck takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kessler smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Boycheck is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kessler connects with a decent elbow. Boycheck manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kessler is trying to maintain the position but Boycheck is very close to passing his half guard. Boycheck thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Boycheck is just content to waste time from the top position. Kessler takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Kessler controls Boycheck momentarily but Boycheck frees himself. Boycheck is looking to work some ground and pound but Kessler has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boycheck throwing strikes from guard but Kessler blocks nicely. Kessler looking to control.
Kessler has his hands on Boycheck's head, controlling the position. Boycheck missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kessler will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Boycheck makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kessler seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Kessler looking for a sweep. Not yet Kessler, not yet. Boycheck trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kessler manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Kessler postures up and lands a big shot to Boycheck's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Kessler dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Boycheck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kessler pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Boycheck back to the cage. Kessler follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Boycheck lands a body shot.
Boycheck tries to bum rush Kessler with a series of wild strikes but Kessler uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boycheck misses with a hook
and Kessler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kessler scores with a spinning back kick! Mitka Boycheck is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boycheck lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kessler takes a step back to recover. Boycheck tries to clinch up. Mitka Boycheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kessler throws a nice outside leg kick. Boycheck tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kessler counters with a nice body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kessler.
Kessler tries to work over Boycheck's front leg with a kick but Boycheck checks it. Boycheck checks the leg kick. Boycheck fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kessler, pushing him back against the cage. Boycheck has Kessler pushed against the cage. Kessler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Boycheck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kessler manages to avoid it. Jack Kessler seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kessler takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Boycheck throws a right hand that Kessler ducks under and follows up with a left that Kessler also avoids with ease. Boycheck takes one to the side of the head.
Kessler misses with a few strikes there.
Boycheck on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kessler. Kessler obviously looking to wear him down.
Boycheck swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kessler is looking to slow Boycheck down with leg kicks. Boycheck loads up on a big right hand but Kessler slips the punch. Boycheck throws the kick towards the body but Kessler avoids it. Boycheck tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kessler throws a wild body kick that Boycheck sees coming a mile off. Boycheck wants to clinch up but Kessler keeps it at a distance. Kessler keeps Boycheck at a distance using the push kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kessler lands a front kick. Boycheck avoids a kick to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boycheck tries to reverse the position but Kessler maintains control. Boycheck doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Kessler breaks from Boycheck's wrist control and lands an elbow. Kessler putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! It looks like Mitka Boycheck has been cut. Kessler lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Boycheck! Kessler sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Boycheck and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
