Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimentiy Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calypso comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Boykin has chosen Пересмотри as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Calypso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 28 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimentiy Boykin! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boykin closes the distance and clinches up with Calypso, looking for a takedown. Boykin pushes Calypso against the cage but Calypso circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boykin dives in for a single leg takedown but Calypso sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Boykin tries to bum rush Calypso with a series of wild strikes but Calypso uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boykin shoots in for a takedown but Calypso shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jack Calypso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimentiy Boykin. Boykin moves into the clinch successfully.
Calypso is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boykin can't fight it off and eventually Calypso manages to take the fight to the floor. Boykin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Calypso pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boykin is keeping the position for now. Boykin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Calypso defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calypso landing some decent shots from guard. Calypso has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Calypso trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calypso distracts Boykin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Calypso accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Calypso will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Calypso trying to control but Boykin is working from the bottom. Calypso passes Boykin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Calypso throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boykin wants to control but Calypso is keeping busy and won't allow it. Calypso is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Calypso throwing shots but Boykin is blocking nicely. Boykin is staying active underneath Calypso, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boykin is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boykin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Boykin. Calypso stopping the sweep attempt from Boykin. Boykin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Calypso has an active guard here but Boykin has managed to pass into half guard.
Boykin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Calypso! Calypso keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Boykin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Calypso manages to avoid the submission attempt. Calypso tries to bench press Boykin off him but Boykin keeps the position. Calypso is not content to let Boykin control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boykin landing strikes. Calypso gets back to half guard. Calypso trying to hold on to Boykin's head to control him but Boykin postures up.

Calypso looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boykin wants to control but Calypso is keeping him busy. Calypso looking for submissions off his back. Boykin is working for a submission of some sort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Calypso is not content to let Boykin control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Calypso is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boykin pulls his head out easily. Boykin seems to be looking for submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Calypso will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Calypso avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Calypso keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Boykin throws a right and a left that both miss. Boykin moves in looking to clinch but Calypso pushes him off. Boykin dives in for a single leg takedown but Calypso sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Calypso half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Calypso misses with a hook. Boykin scores with a hook. Dimentiy Boykin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boykin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Calypso. Boykin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boykin shoots in looking for a takedown but Calypso manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boykin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's one minute gone in the round. Calypso works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Calypso wants to control from the top but Boykin keeps moving. Boykin controls Calypso momentarily but Calypso frees himself. Calypso trying to control the position from guard on top but Boykin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Calypso avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Calypso throws a big right hand that misses. Boykin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Calypso passes into half guard.
Boykin is looking to control Calypso's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boykin avoid being mounted? Calypso working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boykin is trying to maintain the position but Calypso is very close to passing his half guard. Nice strikes from Calypso there. Calypso is looking for a kimura but Boykin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Calypso to get the leverage. Boykin regains full guard. Nicely done. Calypso content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Calypso postures up in Boykin's guard and throws a big left but Boykin blocks it. Boykin is looking for a triangle but Calypso pushes his legs off easily.

Our spies down at at St Petersburg MMA Gym inform us that Boykin has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Boykin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Calypso. Boykin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Calypso controls the pace. Boykin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boykin is looking to cinch up a triangle. Calypso throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Boykin's body to avoid the submission. Boykin has instead reached around Calypso's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Boykin arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
