Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Romano Schoots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gully God (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). God has chosen justin morgan gin and juice as his entrance music. Gully God is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Romano Schoots! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Gully God! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! God takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Schoots throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck God on the side of the head. A telegraphed right hand from Schoots misses the target. God throws out a counter right but Schoots avoids it with no problem. Schoots fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and God has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Schoots jabs at God's body. God has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Romano Schoots seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schoots looks to score with a jab to the body but God is just out of range. God is looking for the big counter here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schoots slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Schoots lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Schoots lands a jab to God's midsection.

Schoots trying to control but God is working from the bottom. Schoots sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Schoots throws a chopping leg kick but God manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Schoots shoots in and drives through. God sprawls well. A nice side step and God releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Schoots throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. God swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Schoots digs a good hook to God's body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schoots looks to land a right hand but God moved out of range. God needs to keep his hands up - Schoots had a free shot at his head there. Schoots throws a jab when God was well out of range. Schoots throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Schoots scores with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schoots fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but God avoids it really well and circles away. God appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

As Schoots backs off God throws a huge counter combo but Schoots manages to avoid it all. Schoots throws a jab when God was well out of range. Schoots misses with a body punch
and God counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Schoots misses with an uppercut. God is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Schoots throws out a powerful jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schoots tries to score a power double leg takedown but God sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Schoots somewhat. God looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. God takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A big right from Schoots misses. Schoots scores with a kick to the midsection. Schoots connects with a body shot. Schoots moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

A head kick misses from Schoots. Schoots connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Schoots cracks a nice hook into God's ribs. Schoots feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gods jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Schoots fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Schoots displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. God chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schoots can pounce on him.

That kick from Schoots tenderised God's leg. God is trying to keep his angry face on. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! God throws a right and a left that Schoots avoids nicely. Schoots thumps God with a low kick. Gully God is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick misses from Schoots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

God shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Schoots eats them both and turns towards God to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Schoots counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Schoots stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Schoots scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Schoots connects with a body shot. Schoots bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps God's head backwards. Schoots lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. God chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schoots can pounce on him.
Gully God has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A jab from God misses. Schoots is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that God can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schoots waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract God. God tries a low kick but Schoots avoids it. Schoots shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has God pinned against the cage. God gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from God! But no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schoots tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Schoots feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gods jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that's the end of the fight! Romano Schoots showed his dominance in that final round. Well Schoots has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
