The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Tate counter with a right hand.
Kong closes the distance looking to clinch
and Tate counters with a nice uppercut.
Kong moves in looking to clinch but Tate pushes him off.
Kong wants to clinch but Tate slips to the side
and Tate counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kong looks to land a body kick but Tate moved away.
Kong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kong there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tate jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kong tries for a takedown but Tate circles away easily
and Tate counters with a crisp right that sends Kong to the canvas! Tate follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
