Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Wobinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Born in the Usa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Wobinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Daniels! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wobinson shoots for a double leg takedown but Daniels sprawls well. He's pushed Wobinson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Daniels goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Daniels defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wobinson. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Daniels! But no joy. Wobinson just misses with a punch to the body.
Daniels is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wobinson with a body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wobinson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Wobinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels slaps away a takedown attempt from Wobinson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wobinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daniels swivels and escapes. Wobinson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jake Wobinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels missing with a left hand there. Wobinson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wobinson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Daniels is out of range and Wobinson settles back down. The fight moves into the clinch position. Daniels has Wobinson pushed against the cage.

Daniels lands a nice uppercut. Wobinson working hard to break the clinch. Daniels is stalling here.
Daniels manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

A head punch on the inside from Daniels fails to land. Daniels lands with a short shot to the head. Wobinson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Daniels is trying to keep an underhook but Wobinson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Daniels looks like he's trying to stand up.
Daniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wobinson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Daniels is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wobinson is keen to just control but Daniels is a slippery customer. Daniels is trying to stand back up but Wobinson is controlling him
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Daniels is in trouble now - Wobinson has advanced to mount! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daniels wants to control but Wobinson is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wobinson tries to control but Daniels wriggling away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth. Wobinson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Wobinson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Daniels manages to avoid the submission attempt. Wobinson wants to control but Daniels is keeping him busy. What's Daniels going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Daniels is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wobinson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels is trying to get back to half guard. Wobinson trying to control the position but Daniels is working away. Wobinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wobinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wobinson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Wobinson is looking to take a break and control but Daniels is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wobinson working away. Daniels is not content to let Wobinson control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Wobinson will probably get the nod. That's time! Wobinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wobinson fails in his attempt to clinch. Daniels throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Wobinson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Daniels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wobinson doesn't manage to clinch there - Daniels circles away.
Wobinson fails with a takedown attempt. Wobinson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wobinson showed some decent athleticism there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daniels wants to improve his position but Wobinson is controlling well.

Daniels is looking to escape. Wobinson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Daniels is trying to stand up here but Wobinson is controlling him well. Wobinson passes the guard and advances to mount! Daniels is squirming around, avoiding Wobinson's attempts to control the action. Daniels working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wobinson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Daniels is surviving well by controlling Wobinson's body position as best he can. Wobinson tries to control but Daniels wriggling away. Daniels's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Wobinson tries to control but Daniels wriggling away. Daniels is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Daniels wants to control but Wobinson is having none of it. Daniels wants to try and get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jack Daniels will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Daniels might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Daniels moves out of range of the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Wobinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Daniels, which made it look bad. Wobinson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Daniels is able to avoid easily. Daniels tries to counter by closing the distance. Wobinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniels pinned against the cage. Daniels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Daniels throws a low kick, looking for Wobinson's leg but Wobinson calmly moves out of range. Daniels cracks Wobinson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Wobinson fails to land the takedown. Daniels slaps away a takedown attempt from Wobinson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wobinson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Daniels counters with a nice uppercut. Daniels displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wobinson. Daniels is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Jack Daniels seems to be getting the better of the standup. Daniels scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Jake Wobinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Daniels. Wobinson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daniels lands with a shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wobinson fails to land the takedown. Daniels let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Daniels moves into the clinch. Daniels is defending well against a takedown attempt. Daniels has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Daniels crunches a lovely knee into Wobinson's ribcage. Daniels unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wobinson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Daniels lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Daniels lands a nice uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Daniels. Daniels working some nice short punches in the clinch. Daniels lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wobinson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Daniels is defending well. Daniels scores with a shot to the side of Wobinson's head.
Wobinson is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Daniels misses with a knee to the head.

Daniels breaks from the clinch.
Wobinson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Daniels sizes up Wobinson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wobinson throws a jab when Daniels was well out of range. Daniels lands with a thumping leg kick.
Daniels changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Daniels lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Wobinson ducks right into an uppercut from Daniels. Daniels lands with a hook. Wobinson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wobinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Daniels comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Daniels has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
