Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erkki Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitri Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Emelianenko's choice of entrance music: Era - The Mass. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fails with an attempt to clinch.
Black feints and as Emelianenko raises his hands in defense, Black changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Emelianenko wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Black is now in half guard.
Emelianenko trying to control but Black postures up.
Emelianenko is looking for a sweep. Black is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Emelianenko trying to control from the bottom.
Emelianenko tries to get to full guard but Black has control of the leg.
Emelianenko landing a few short strikes.

Emelianenko landing rabbit punches to the side of Black's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Emelianenko tries to roll over but Black keeps him under control.
Emelianenko trying to hold on to Black's head to control him but Black postures up.
Emelianenko strikes from the bottom but Black passes into mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Black lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Black connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Emelianenko is in all sorts of trouble here.
Emelianenko wants to control but Black is having none of it.
Emelianenko is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Black lands a big shot there that rocks Emelianenko but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Emelianenko tries to reverse the position but Black maintains control.
Black scoring with strikes but Emelianenko is staying in there.
Emelianenko tries to improve his position but Black has taken his back! Black has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Emelianenko tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Black pushes Emelianenko away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
