Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Junior Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bee Jay enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Jawo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bee Jay! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay pushes Jawo away with a front kick. An inside leg kick lands from Jay. Jawo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jay clinches. Jawo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jay to keep the fight standing. Jawo is trying to pull guard but Jay turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Jawo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jay breaks from the clinch.
Bee Jay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jay throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Jay scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jay with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jay dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jawo shoots in for a takedown but Jay shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jay is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Jawo with a body shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Jay.
Jay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. This has been an exciting period of action! Jay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jay wants it to stay on the feet. Jay does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jawo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jay clinches with his opponent.
Jay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jay lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jawo at a distance.

Jawo has his takedown stuffed and Jay counters with a right hand to the body. Jawo slips a jab and a cross from Jay.
Jay throws a looping overhand right but Jawo ducks down to avoid it. Jay throws the kick towards the body but Jawo avoids it. Jawo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jay throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jay thumps Jawo with a low kick. Jawo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jawo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jay has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Jay wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jay is trying to stand up here but Jawo is controlling him well. Jawo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jay keeps working. Jay is trying to stand.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jay is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jawo rather than just go for the knockout. Jay throws a low kick, looking for Jawo's leg but Jawo calmly moves out of range. Bee Jay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jay doesn't manage to clinch there - Jawo circles away.
Jawo tries to move into range but Jay moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jawo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jay as he avoids it easily. Jay lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jawo at a distance.

Bee Jay dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jawo dives in for a single leg takedown but Jay sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A low kick from Jay misses and Jawo counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jawo pushes down on Jay's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jawo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jay doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jawo. Jay desperately trying to maintain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jay wants to get back to his feet. Jawo wants to work for an arm triangle but Jay is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jay has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A telegraphed right hand from Jay misses the target. Jay tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jawo was well out of range. Poor timing from Jay. Jawo shoots for a takedown but Jay saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Jawo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jawo shoots for a double leg takedown but Jay sprawls well. He's pushed Jawo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bee Jay seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jay gets a clinch. Jawo jumps guard but Jay turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jawo is trying to pull guard but Jay has him pressed against the cage. Jawo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jay but Jay pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jay misses with a hook. Jawo ducked under it nicely. Jay scores with a decent looking hook. Jay throws a right and a left that Jawo avoids nicely.

Jay throws a front kick aimed at Jawo's knee but Jawo avoids it well. Jawo fails with a takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jay thuds a left hand into Jawo's body. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jay lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jawo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jawo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jay throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bee Jay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jawo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jay. Jay tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jawo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jay's guard. Jawo is looking to pass into half guard but Jay pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jay is in guard.
Jay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jawo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jay has managed to get both his arms back between Jawo's legs - danger averted. Jay slips nicely into half guard. Jawo looking for submissions off his back. Jay is controlling the pace.

Jawo is looking to control Jay's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jawo avoid being mounted? Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jay in particular looking to stall. Jay passes into side control, despite Jawo's attempt to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jay wants to stand but Jawo is controlling his arm. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Jay tries for a kimura but Jawo is defending well. Jawo is looking for a sweep. Jay in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jawo is trying to improve his position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jawo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Jay manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jawo tries to free his leg and advance position but Jay is retaining full guard. Jawo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jawo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jawo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jay wants to stand and escape but Jawo is having none of it. Jay wants to sweep but no luck. Jay keeps trying to improve his position. Jawo wants to control from the top but Jay keeps moving. Jay wants to get back to his feet but Jawo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jay defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jawo. Jay tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jawo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jawo. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jay looking to control.
Jawo stops Jay from standing up. Junior Jawo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bee Jay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jay trying to keep a closed guard but Jawo is proving a slippery customer.
And that's the end of the fight! Junior Jawo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jay has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
