The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Grant counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Gracie drives through with a takedown into Grant's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Gracie preventing the sweep.
Grant manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

Gracie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Grant uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Grant presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Grant wants to take Gracie 's back here but Gracie is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Gracie tries to lock up and control but Grant gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gracie gets back to half guard.
Grant seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gracie tries to roll over but Grant keeps him under control.
Grant passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gracie !
Gracie is squirming around, avoiding Grant's attempts to control the action.
Gracie is desperately trying to improve his position but Grant has a good base and remains in mount.

Gracie is trying desperately to improve position.
Grant controlling the position easily from mount.
Gracie is trying to escape the mount.
Grant manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gracie to take his back!

Grant slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Gracie staying busy and making it hard for Grant to control.
Gracie is really stuck here.
Grant controls the position.
Gracie prevents Grant from getting a body triangle.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gracie misses with a takedown
and Grant counters with a stiff right hand.
Grant misses with a head kick.
Grant scores with a jab to the body.
Grant is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?
Grant throws a front kick that sends Gracie stumbling back into the cage.
Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Grant lands a right hook to the body.
Grant dances in with a quick combination. Gracie is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Grant snaps Gracie 's head back. Gracie stumbles backwards against the cage. Grant steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Gracie 's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Gracie just didn't come prepared.
