Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milovan Drecun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akeel Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drecun comes to the cage accompanied by The Clash - Rudie cant fail. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milovan Drecun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akeel Lynch! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drecun misses with a takedown attempt - Lynch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Good shot there by Lynch. Akeel Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lynch scores with a takedown into Drecun's guard. Drecun throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lynch escapes and throws Drecun's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lynch grinds an elbow into Drecun's temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lynch trying to control the action but Drecun is working from the bottom. Drecun is looking to regain half guard here but Lynch keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch trying to control the position but Drecun is working away. Drecun throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Drecun sneaks back into half guard. Drecun regains full guard. Nicely done. Drecun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lynch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lynch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lynch working some strikes from top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lynch's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Drecun is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynch stands and throws Drecun's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lynch trying to control the action but Drecun is working from the bottom. Lynch landing a few strikes. Drecun is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lynch off and has taken his back! Drecun tries to keep control of the position but Lynch is staying busy. Drecun is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lynch is defending well though. Drecun let's go of the attempt for now. Lynch is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch is in bad spot here.
Drecun looking to break Lynch's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Lynch remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Drecun will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Lynch is trying to break free.
Lynch looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Drecun looking for the choke from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lynch looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Drecun wants to control but Lynch is keeping busy. Drecun will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drecun throws strikes from the back but Lynch rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Lynch. Drecun trying to move into half guard but instead Lynch has managed to sweep! Drecun trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Lynch wants to control from the top but Drecun keeps moving. Lynch works over Drecun with some ground and pound from guard. Drecun can't keep his opponent in guard - Lynch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lynch trying to control the action but Drecun is working from the bottom. Lynch looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akeel Lynch dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drecun. Drecun takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lynch throws a hook but Drecun blocks it. A looping hook to the body misses from Lynch. Drecun does a little dance to reset his feet. Drecun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lynch as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lynch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Drecun on his heels. He'll look to pass Drecun's guard now, I'm sure. Lynch looking to pass the guard. Drecun has his foot on Lynch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lynch works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drecun looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lynch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drecun can't keep his opponent in guard - Lynch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lynch working the head and body with strikes. Drecun trying to control from the bottom.
Drecun looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Drecun gets full guard. Lynch advances to half guard. Ground and pound from Lynch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynch wants to pass the guard but Drecun is defending well. Drecun misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Drecun looking for submissions off his back. Drecun wants to improve his position but Lynch is controlling well.
Drecun wants to control but Lynch is keeping busy.
Lynch is looking to take a break and control but Drecun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Drecun moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch slips nicely into half guard. Drecun actively working from the bottom here. Lynch slips a nice elbow through Drecun's hands, connecting with Drecun's forehead. Drecun trying to control from the bottom.
Lynch passes to full mount! Drecun tries to hold on but Lynch pushes him away. Lynch wants to control the pace but Drecun is squirming around nicely. The referee warns Drecun that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lynch lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Lynch has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drecun tries to lock up and control but Lynch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lynch lands a nice shot to the head. Lynch trying to control but Drecun is having none of it. Drecun is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Drecun holds on for dear life, controlling Lynch's posture momentarily. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lynch cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lynch postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Drecun in real trouble here! The ref calls for Drecun to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
