Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samir King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasilko Nikolaevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King's entrance music is When I Die - Genocide(Jusuf Dzilic). A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samir King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vasilko Nikolaevich! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King looks for a takedown but Nikolaevich sprawls well. Nikolaevich lands a head kick. King smiles back at him and beckons him forward. King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nikolaevich circles away. King avoids the head kick by Nikolaevich.
Nikolaevich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. King shoots in but no luck this time. Nikolaevich is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samir King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nikolaevich darts in and clinches King up against the cage. Nikolaevich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. King dives in and grabs Nikolaevich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nikolaevich pushes down on King's head and hops out. King takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nikolaevich lands a big head kick that sends King tumbling to the mat! Nikolaevich takes a step backwards and waves King back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Samir King has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from Nikolaevich finds it's way through King's defenses. Nikolaevich has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Nikolaevich fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with King, pushing him back against the cage. Nikolaevich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. King fails with the takedown and Nikolaevich counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. King dives in for a single leg takedown but Nikolaevich sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nikolaevich leaves King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nikolaevich gets a clinch. Nikolaevich lands a right hand. Nikolaevich connects with a knee to the head.

Horrible takedown attempt by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Nikolaevich, which made it look bad. Nikolaevich drives through with a takedown into guard. King throws his legs up looking for a submission but Nikolaevich uses it to pass to side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King is working hard here to advance position. Nikolaevich wants to stand but King has his arm trapped. Nikolaevich decides to take the fight back to the feet. King looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. King takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. No joy there for Nikolaevich, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Nikolaevich throws a head kick that misses. Samir King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nikolaevich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard. Nikolaevich got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nikolaevich has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted. Nikolaevich tries to stand but King is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nikolaevich controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. King looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nikolaevich has picked King up and slammed him! King can't keep hold of the triangle and Nikolaevich manages to pass to side control! King is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nikolaevich decides to stand up, so the ref orders King to his feet. Nikolaevich pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King keeps the fight on the outside. King drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nikolaevich sprawls and moves away. Nikolaevich lands a head kick. King smiles back at him and beckons him forward. King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nikolaevich but Nikolaevich pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nikolaevich moves into range and clinches up with King. Nikolaevich manages to break the clinch.
King dives in and grabs Nikolaevich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nikolaevich pushes down on King's head and hops out. It seemed like Nikolaevich was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nikolaevich thuds his shin into the meat of King's side. King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nikolaevich swivels and escapes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vasilko Nikolaevich dominated that round. The cut man is working on Samir King's cut. That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

King shoots in for a double leg but Nikolaevich sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. King shoots in looking for a takedown but Nikolaevich manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. King drives through with a takedown into guard. Nikolaevich is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea. King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nikolaevich lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
King is looking for a triangle but Nikolaevich pushes his legs off easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nikolaevich has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Nikolaevich throws a head kick but King moves out of range.

King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nikolaevich as he avoids it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nikolaevich throws a front kick that sends King stumbling back into the cage. Nikolaevich throws a nice head kick!

Vasilko Nikolaevich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Samir King's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nikolaevich is pressed up against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nikolaevich down to the mat. Nikolaevich avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nikolaevich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nikolaevich has closed the distance and engaged King in a clinch.
King wants to take the fight to the mat but Nikolaevich manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. King drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nikolaevich gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nikolaevich unloads a knee to the mid-section. Nikolaevich lands a damaging elbow. Samir King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! King wants a takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Vasilko Nikolaevich comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nikolaevich has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
