Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rigoberto Lamas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Firmly Grasping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamas comes to the cage accompanied by Brazilian National Anthem. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rigoberto Lamas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Firmly Grasping! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grasping lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lamas lands a nice shot that snaps Grasping's head back.
Grasping misses with a low kick as Lamas jumps back. Grasping throws a right hand that Lamas ducks under and follows up with a left that Lamas also avoids with ease. The crowd cheers as Lamas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Grasping doesn't seem phased though. Lamas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Grasping to the mat! Grasping manages to get full guard. Grasping had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lamas defends it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lamas is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've been hearing that Lamas has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lamas works over Grasping with some ground and pound from guard. Lamas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grasping swivels though and keeps the full guard. Grasping had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grasping is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lamas defends well. Lamas tries to free his leg and advance position but Grasping is retaining full guard. Lamas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lamas trying to control the position from guard on top but Grasping is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lamas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grasping swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lamas is working hard here to advance position. Lamas wants to control from the top but Grasping keeps moving. Grasping has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lamas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Grasping has tightened it up now! Lamas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
