The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSilva shoots in looking for a takedown but Biggums manages to keep the fight standing, pushing DeSilva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Biggums looks to throw a body kick
and DeSilva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

DeSilva fails with a takedown attempt.
Biggums dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Biggums has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DeSilva looks for a takedown but Biggums sprawls well.

Biggums throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! DeSilva escapes and throws Biggums's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Biggums is looking to regain half guard here but DeSilva keeps moving and retains side control.

DeSilva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Biggums is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

DeSilva is working to tighten his grip on Biggums's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Biggums has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but DeSilva is really squeezing tight and eventually Biggums passes out! DeSilva breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
