Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hashem Mohsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stannis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hashem Mohsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Stannis! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mohsen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mohsen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stannis tries to avoid it but Mohsen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stannis to the ground. Stannis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mohsen. Stannis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mohsen tries to clinch up but Stannis circles away and keeps his distance. A slapping body kick lands there for Mohsen. Mohsen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stannis as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hashem Mohsen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mohsen shoots in looking for a takedown but Stannis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mohsen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mohsen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mohsen gets caught napping as Stannis dives in and scores a takedown. Mohsen manages to retain guard. Stannis advances to half guard. Mohsen is looking to control Stannis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mohsen avoid being mounted? Stannis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Stannis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Mohsen is looking to improve his position.
Stannis works his foot free and advances to mount. Stannis thowing shots but they're missing. Stannis controlling from mount. Stannis punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stannis looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Stannis dominating with strikes here. Stannis controlling from mount. Stannis raining down hammerfists from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stannis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Mohsen is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stannis controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stannis working for a submission but Mohsen is keeping him at bay. Stannis content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stannis lands a nice shot to the head. Stannis postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Mohsen bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Stannis and the fight is over!
