Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boston Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Ruffarino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dallas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bo-lieve. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruffarino on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ruffarino tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dallas defends well and Ruffarino ends up having to push Dallas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dallas looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Ruffarino throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dallas.
Ruffarino closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dallas quickly recovers to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dallas tries to kick Ruffarino off but Ruffarino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Dallas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ruffarino has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ruffarino paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Ruffarino shoots in for a double leg but Dallas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ruffarino throws a head kick that misses.
Ruffarino closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dallas circles away.
Dallas connects with a combination that backs up Ruffarino into the cage. Dallas lands a flurry of punches that gets past Ruffarino's guard. Ruffarino is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Dallas bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
