Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Golden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Charbonneau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charbonneau has chosen Stromae - Formidable as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Golden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Charbonneau! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charbonneau shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Golden manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Golden can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Charbonneau controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Golden trying to keep a closed guard but Charbonneau is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Golden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charbonneau defends it nicely. Charbonneau swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Charbonneau gets a double leg takedown into Golden's guard. Charbonneau got a little sloppy there for a moment and Golden has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Charbonneau has managed to get both his arms back between Golden's legs - danger averted. Charbonneau slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charbonneau prevents Golden from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Golden is in trouble now - Charbonneau has advanced to mount! Charbonneau lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Charbonneau controlling from the full mount. Golden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Charbonneau on the ground. The referee warns Golden that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Charbonneau connects with a bit shot that sees Golden covering up! More strikes from Charbonneau and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Charbonneau is our winner by TKO!
