Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stavros Drivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valkus Werdana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drivas comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Hubbard - Commando. Werdana comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Five Finger Death Punch - White Knuckles kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Stavros Drivas has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stavros Drivas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valkus Werdana! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Werdana missing with a left hand there. Drivas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Drivas cracks Werdana with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Drivas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Werdana, pushing him back against the cage. Werdana has had enough of the clinch but Drivas keeps him there for the moment. Werdana manages to break the clinch.
Werdana misses with a straight right. Werdana misses with a straight left. Werdana throws the left hand but Drivas avoids the punch easily. Werdana misses with a series of wild punches.
Drivas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Drivas ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Drivas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drivas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Werdana wanted to stand there but Drivas had control of the position. Drivas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Drivas seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Werdana for as long as he can get away with. Werdana takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Drivas lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Drivas is going olschool here, as he tries to force Werdana to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Werdana shrugs it off. Drivas controlling from the full mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Werdana throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Drivas moves out of range as Werdana strikes. Werdana looks to land a right hand but Drivas moved out of range. Werdana tries to keep at a distance but Drivas has taken the fight into the clinch. Drivas goes for a takedown attempt but Werdana pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Werdana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drivas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Werdana throws a looping overhand right but Drivas ducks down to avoid it. Werdana throws a nice looking combination but Drivas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The fight moves into the clinch position. Werdana is breathing heavily. Werdana on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Werdana is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Drivas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Drivas in particular looking to stall. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Drivas connects with a nice short shot to Werdana's temple. Drivas content to control rather than advance. It looks like Valkus Werdana has been cut. Drivas lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Drivas turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Drivas manages to end up in side control. Drivas is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Werdana's shoulder. That is not cool. Drivas has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Werdana! Werdana takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Drivas looking to finish Werdana with some ground and pound. This is bad for Werdana! Drivas landing shots from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Werdana is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Werdana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drivas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Drivas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Werdana looks a forlorn figure.
Drivas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Werdana tries to reverse the position but Drivas maintains control. Drivas throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Werdana has his hands clasped together but Drivas breaks the hold and Werdana is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Drivas!
