Kreisi comes to the cage accompanied by Ella ja Aleksi - Kakkaa lumella. Hois Kreisi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Hois Kreisi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
40 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Maurice McDonald! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Kreisi misses. Kreisi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McDonald sprawls well. McDonald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kreisi gets slowly back to his feet. Kreisi scores with a jab. Kreisi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McDonald's half guard. McDonald wants to get back to full guard. Kreisi wants to control but McDonald is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kreisi trying to pass the guard but McDonald defending well.

A big mistake from Kreisi there, giving up the dominant position! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kreisi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McDonald's guard. Kreisi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kreisi works his way into full mount! McDonald wants to hold on but Kreisi pushes him away. Kreisi prevents McDonald from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kreisi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McDonald is looking to escape. McDonald blocking the ground and pound. McDonald is squirming around, avoiding Kreisi's attempts to control the action. Kreisi punching from mount but McDonald doing a good job of avoiding damage. Kreisi misses with some ground and pound and McDonald recovers position to half guard. McDonald keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kreisi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McDonald to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McDonald shrugs it off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kreisi with good strikes from the mount here! McDonald is wriggling around trying to escape.

Possibly, maybe, no Kreisi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kreisi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

McDonald prevents Kreisi from moving into mount. McDonald is looking to regain half guard here but Kreisi keeps moving and retains side control. Kreisi tries to advance to mount but McDonald denies him. The ground and pound from Kreisi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

McDonald on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. McDonald walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. McDonald throws a series of punches but Kreisi moves out of range. McDonald takes a shot to the body in his stride.
