Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Macias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronaldo Santos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Don Macias's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Don Macias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Santos! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos forces Macias back against the cage and clinches. Macias ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Macias no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Santos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Macias works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Santos is looking to stand up but Macias won't let him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Santos forces his way into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Santos seems content to control. Santos tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Santos not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos is working for a submission of some sort.
Santos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Macias with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Santos is figuring out what he wants to do next. Macias is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Well, if Santos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Santos wants to stand up but Macias has a hold of him and won't allow it. Santos slows the pace down in half guard. Santos is looking to advance position but Macias won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos stalling.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Santos just misses with a punch to the body.
Macias is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Santos. Santos rushes Macias and presses him up against the cage. Macias fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Santos has hold of one of Macias's legs. Macias is fighting the takedown attempt but Santos gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Macias is trying to keep Santos in close.
Santos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Santos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Macias looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Santos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Santos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Macias, up you get! Macias takes a swing at Santos's ribcage but misses. Santos throws a head kick that misses. Macias was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Santos misses with a head kick.
Santos gets in close and instigates a clinch. Santos successfully pulls guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronaldo Santos dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Santos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ronaldo Santos has got the better of the ground game so far. The ground and pound from Santos seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Santos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Macias sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Macias knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground. Santos wants to stand but Macias has his arm trapped. Macias can't do much from the bottom here. Macias prevents Santos from moving into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Santos just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macias gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Santos landing punches. Macias taking shots to the head. Santos controlling from the full mount. Santos lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Macias hang on? Santos in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Macias is rocked! Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Macias bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Santos and the fight is over!
