The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons rushes Khalifa and presses him up against the cage.
Parsons jumps guard.
Khalifa tries to free his leg and advance position but Parsons is retaining full guard.
Parsons wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Khalifa forces his way into half guard.
Khalifa passes the guard and advances to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parsons tries to reverse the position but Khalifa maintains control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parsons is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Khalifa has taken his back.
Khalifa is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Khalifa has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Parsons is defending well but eventually Khalifa manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Parsons has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
