Scott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go, Go Power Rangers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurreff jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Scott tests Gurreff's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Scott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jason Lee Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott scores with a nice body kick.
Scott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gurreff at a distance.
Scott slips a jab and a cross from Gurreff.
Gurreff fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Scott on the side of the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Scott tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gurreff was well out of range. Poor timing from Scott.
Scott misses with a low kick.

Scott lands a big head kick that sends Gurreff tumbling to the mat! Scott takes a step backwards and waves Gurreff back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gurreff is rocked!
Scott looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Scott backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Gurreff's temple! It sends Gurreff violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Scott celebrates and the doctors try to help Gurreff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Jason Lee Scott!
A relieved looking Jason Lee Scott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
