Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Serget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serget has chosen Friends in lower places as his entrance music. Bob Serget has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Victor Zangief's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Victor Zangief! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Serget! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zangief fails with the takedown. Zangief tries to land a front kick but Serget steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. And Serget tries to counter it with a takedown but Zangief pushes his down on his head and steps out. Serget has a takedown stuffed. Victor Zangief seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Serget displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zangief. Zangief looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Serget is fending him off so far but Zangief persists. Nope, Serget circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Zangief. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zangief throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Zangief throws a jab when Serget was well out of range. Nice takedown defense from Serget. No joy for Zangief on that attempt. Zangief wants to clinch up but Serget keeps it at a distance. Serget drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Zangief defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serget dodges the punch combination from Zangief.
Zangief tries to clinch and Serget counters with a nice double leg into guard. Zangief can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Serget controls the pace. Serget won't allow Zangief to sweep him here. Serget lands a couple of digs. Zangief not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Serget controls from within his opponent's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Zangief is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Zangief misses with a takedown attempt - Serget sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Zangief has his takedown stuffed so Serget counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Zangief is pulling down on Serget's head. It's preventing any offense from Serget, at least for the moment. Zangief looking for a sweep. Not yet Zangief, not yet.

Zangief is trying to control the position but Serget postures up. Zangief avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Serget showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Serget tries to clinch there but Zangief circles away.
Zangief closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Zangief trying to control the position but Serget is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zangief is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Serget is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Zangief slows the pace down. Zangief misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zangief is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Serget's shoulder. That is not cool. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Serget wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bob Serget will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Zangief throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A nice side step and Serget releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Excellent takedown into side control there by Zangief. Serget tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zangief wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Serget regains half guard there - taking advantage of Zangief's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Zangief sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Serget defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Serget wants to improve his position but Zangief is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zangief wants to stand up but Serget is controlling the position.
Zangief is looking to advance position but Serget won't allow it. Serget kicks off Zangief and gets to his feet. Zangief throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Serget counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Serget trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Serget controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zangief looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zangief trying to keep a closed guard but Serget is proving a slippery customer.
Zangief bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Serget's guard. Serget has his hands on Zangief's head, controlling the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Serget is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zangief is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Serget trying to control but Zangief is working from the bottom. Serget might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zangief haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Zangief is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Serget slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Serget chips away with some ground and pound. Zangief is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Zangief is looking for a triangle but Serget pushes his legs off easily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zangief throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Serget counters with a shoot takedown. Zangief fights it but they end up in guard. Zangief is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Serget showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Serget shoots in and bounces Zangief off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Zangief looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Serget is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Zangief is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Serget landing some decent shots from guard.

Serget gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Zangief tries for a takedown but Serget sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Serget throws a counter combo. Zangief tries to clinch but Serget moves out of range. Serget is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Zangief missing with a left hand there. Serget was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Serget is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Zangief shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Zangief. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zangief shoots and misses and Serget counters with a shoot takedown. Zangief fights it but they end up in guard. Zangief had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Serget defends it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Serget stopping the sweep attempt from Zangief.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Serget is working Zangief over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Zangief trying to control the position.
Serget controlling from the top position. Zangief is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Serget is controlling him. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Zangief throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zangief with a poor takedown and Serget decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zangief's guard. Serget trying to control the position from guard on top but Zangief is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Serget lands a couple of digs. Serget wants to control from the top but Zangief keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Serget sitting in guard, not really doing much. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zangief is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Serget comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Serget winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
