Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marty Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anaconda Chomp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marty Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anaconda Chomp!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chomp forces Bell back against the cage and clinches.
Bell is trying to drag Chomp to the mat but Chomp just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bell is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Chomp tries to land knees in the clinch but Bell avoids the damage to the body.
Chomp throws an elbow but it misses.
Chomp creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bell content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Chomp gets control of Bell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chomp will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chomp tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chomp looking for a guillotine here but Bell defends easily.

Chomp has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chomp is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chomp looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chomp wants to free his trapped foot but Bell is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Bell wants to control but Chomp is keeping busy.
Chomp is keen to just control but Bell is a slippery customer.

Chomp is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bell has managed to free his arm - good work.

Bell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chomp on the ground.

Bell is looking for a sweep.
Bell is trying to control Chomp's posture but Chomp avoids it.

Chomp working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Chomp has control of an arm but Bell manages to advance to Chomp's back!

Anaconda Chomp has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chomp is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bell defends well.

Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Helsinki inform us that Chomp has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Anaconda Chomp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chomp tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Bell bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Chomp is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bell frees his head nicely. Oh but Chomp has switched to an armbar! Bell is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
