The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wickam smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Babawto goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Babawto has momentary wrist control but Wickam slips an elbow through the middle.
Wickam not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Babawto pushes Wickam off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wickam pounces like a tiger and cracks Babawto with a vicious hook! Babawto is down but not out! Wickam follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
